Weekly Group Art for Kids 7-12 - Saturday

In weekly 1.5 hour group art lessons, artists aged 7-12 will create, explore, and learn about art!

Through sketchbook activities and portfolio projects, students will be introduced to fundamental concepts and techniques.

We will experiment with various artistic mediums, including acrylics, watercolours, oil pastels, graphite, coloured pencils, charcoal, and clay. The program will also spotlight the works of prominent artists, helping students to explore and develop their own artistic styles.

In May 2025, enrolled students will showcase their creative work in a year-end art show open to friends, family, and community members.

This program takes place September 7, 2024 - May 17, 2025.  Registration is available annually, semesterly, and on a drop-in basis. Students who enroll semesterly/annually participate in the year-end art show.
