Weekly Group Art Lessons for Kids 7-12

In weekly two-hour group art lessons, artists aged 7-12 will create, explore, and learn about art!

Through sketchbook activities and portfolio projects, students will be introduced to fundamental concepts and techniques. They will experiment with various artistic mediums, including acrylics, watercolours, oil pastels, graphite, coloured pencils, charcoal, and clay. The program will also spotlight the works of prominent artists, helping students to explore and develop their own artistic styles. In May 2025, enrolled students will showcase their creative work in a year-end art show open to friends, family, and community members.

Program Schedule: This program takes place September 7, 2024 - May 17, 2025 weekly on Saturdays 10:30am - 12:30pm, excluding the following no-lesson dates: November 16th, December 21st, December 28th, and April 19th.
